Lilia Jacobs-Kriegel

With over a decade of training and several years of teaching in my pocket, I am able to guide students–kids and adults alike–towards improvement. I focus on refining technique and cultivating patience, self-compassion, and an understanding of the bunkai behind kata (analyzing "the why" behind a sequence of karate movements) to extract its hidden practical fighting applications. I take pride in learning how to adapt my teaching to each student, whether they are neurodivergent like myself, have a non-traditional learning style, or are recovering from an injury. I am constantly inspired and impressed by Kaizen students, and I look forward to every day I get to watch them improve.

Outside the dojo, I am a local high school student with a passion for physics and Spanish.
